Welcome to the Banwell Village Diary, The home of community events and information.

The foundations of Banwell date way back to Neolithic age where the Banwell Camp is found to contain flint tools. Moving forward the iconic ‘Banwell Castle’ was constructed in the early 1800’s and housed many families and even some of the RAF for a short period of time!

Today Banwell is a civil parish of Somerset and is home to just over 2000 people, with village shops, school, churches and its own sports facilities with much going on throughout the year.

For an idea of what is coming up, take a look at the events diary and see what is available in the next few weeks.
